W dniu 10.06.2018 r w Kościele Miłosierdzia Bożego w Pogorzałkach odbyła się uroczystość upamiętniająca 77. rocznicę wywózki  mieszkańców wsi Pogorzałki do Kazachstanu. Uroczystą mszę świętą oprawił ks. Marcin Kuczyński, w której uczestniczyły władze Gminy Dobrzyniewo Duże, członkowie Związku Sybiraków, społeczność szkolna, przedstawiciel Muzeum Pamięci Sybiru, poczty sztandarowe oraz mieszkańcy Pogorzałk
i okolicznych wsi. Oprawę liturgii przygotował Chór im. Stanisława Moniuszki pod dyrekcją Marty Szałkiewicz. Po uroczystej mszy świętej dalsza część obchodów odbyła się przy obelisku upamiętniającym to wydarzenie. Po uroczystościach udano się do Wiejskiego Domu Kultury w Pogorzałkach gdzie odbyła się część artystyczna w wykonaniu Zespołu Folklorystycznego „Narwianie” oraz „Dobrzyniaków”.
